Who Valiant Lady Is

Valiant Lady is the second of Virgin’s four Lady Ships, and the one that proved the concept could travel. Scarlet Lady launched the brand in the Caribbean; Valiant took it across the Atlantic, making her debut in 2022 and bringing the adults-only, no-buffet, no-formal-night formula to Europe for the first time.

The vitals: roughly 110,000 gross tons, about 2,770 Sailors, 18+ fleetwide, 20+ eateries with no specialty upcharges, and the same superyacht-inspired design language as her sisters. The 2026 Glow Up, in Brief

In spring 2026 Valiant Lady went into dry dock and came out meaningfully changed. The headline is Ariya, but the refresh ran deeper: The Manor lost its raised platforms and gained real dance floor, the Athletic Club added shaded daybeds and ocean-facing loungers, Grounds Club Too now runs as a full bar from late afternoon, On the Rocks and The Dock both got stage upgrades, the shops expanded, and all 1,300+ crew went through Virgin’s service culture refresh. On top of that, the entertainment program was rebuilt with more than 20 new Happenings spanning game shows, late-night social formats, food and drink experiences, and quiet hands-on workshops.

Where She Sails, Now Through 2028

Now through October 2026: the Mediterranean and Northern Europe

Her current season runs Mediterranean classics (Italy, the French Riviera, Ibiza overnights) alongside Northern Europe sailings. And right now she is on the season’s marquee run: the Eclipse in the Land of Fire and Ice voyage, which departed Portsmouth on August 5 and positions her near Iceland for the total solar eclipse on August 12. October 2026 to April 2027: the San Juan season

Fresh from the refit, she repositions to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a winter of six- to eight-night Southern Caribbean sailings. This is the season we have been loudest about, for two reasons. First, San Juan departures reach deeper Caribbean ports than Miami can in a week. Second, one of those itineraries visits Curaçao, Aruba, and St. Maarten, the ports where we have real, vetted local partners, which is why we call it the Partnership Voyage. Summer 2028: Barcelona, then Amsterdam, then the Arctic

Her boldest season yet. Spring 2028 runs Barcelona-based Mediterranean sailings. Then from July 9 to September 4, 2028, she home-ports in Amsterdam for Virgin’s first Scandinavia and Baltics season: the Norwegian fjords, a 12-night Baltic with a Stockholm overnight, and an 11-night Arctic Circle voyage to Tromsø and Honningsvåg at 71 degrees north, the furthest north Virgin has ever sailed, with 15 maiden ports across the season.
