Curacao has always been one of my favorite destinations in the Caribbean. While we have traveled in different seasons, we have still not been during the winter. I look forward to a future visit during the months of February and March when the Curacao Carnival is taking place. It’s one of the largest carnivals in the Caribbean and one of the longest lasting. There are multiple parades with colorful characters and beautiful floats. And there are plenty of opportunities to jump into the action and dance with the locals.

ToggleCuracao Water Activities
Of course, you can’t truly enjoy Curacao travel without spending plenty of time in the water. It would be a crime. There are many unique activities that you can enjoy on the coast as well some of the very secluded mangroves. These activities include paddleboarding, parasailing, surfing, and kayaking.
Use the Right Curacao Tour Guide
You can visit Curacao ten times and enjoy these experiences with a different company or guide each time. That’s fine for people who don’t mind experimenting because they know they’ll be returning soon. But if you’re planning a special vacation, then you want to take the time to find the best companies and guides for these services before you arrive. That way you’ll enjoy the best experience possible. We recommend Irie Tours for island tours.
Curacao Scuba Experts
One company that I’m particularly fond of is the Dive Bus. They lead scuba diving experiences at all of the best Curacao dive sites. When it comes to scuba diving, using a company that knows the best possible dive spots makes a world of difference. You’re guaranteed to see some amazing wildlife and breathtaking views when you work with the Dive Bus. There’s one diving spot in particular with a sunken tugboat that you’ll never forget.
Of course, that can be said about your entire trip to Curacao. It’s absolutely unforgettable. If you’ve never had the pleasure of visiting the island, then it should be moved to the top of your to-do list.
