After October 7, 2025, Virgin Voyages split non-suite pricing into VoyageFair Choices (Base, Essential, Premium) and still offers promotional rates on select sailings. Base is a VoyageFair tier. Lock It In is a discretionary GTY promotional rate that sits alongside VoyageFair, not inside it as a fourth tier.

Both paths share the same handcuffs on cancel and change rules (non-refundable ex taxes/fees; no standard 7-day grace; no Future Voyage Credit; no date or name changes). How are Base and Lock It In cabins assigned?

Official Virgin Voyages Choosing Your Cabin FAQ is clear:

• Lock It In: guarantee in your category or better; you may not know the exact cabin until closer to sailing (sometimes sail day).
• Base: a cabin type is assigned automatically within your category. That is not the same as Essential/Premium Sailors choosing and later changing cabins.
• Cabin changes: not allowed on Base or Lock It In. Connecting or adjacent cabins only work when your fare allows cabin changes, so groups who need to stick together should not start here.

What Wi-Fi and dining do you get on Suite Lock It In?

Lock It In can appear on RockStar and Mega RockStar Quarters too. Suite Lock It In still carries the same refund/change handcuffs, but Wi-Fi maps differently:

• RockStar Lock It In: keeps Classic Wi-Fi.
• Mega Lock It In: keeps Work from Sea.
