Virgin Voyages Status Match Is Back: Apply and Book by October 31, 2026

Status Match can NOT be added to any existing reservation. Period.
- It only works on a brand-new booking made between September 24 and October 31, 2026, with the Access Key entered at the time of booking.
- It will not be applied to a voyage you already booked, whether you booked it last year, last month, or yesterday.
- It is not applied automatically, and it cannot be added after the booking is made.
- Already booked? Please talk to us before you cancel or rebook anything to chase it. Cancellation penalties and fare changes can easily cost more than the perks are worth.

Applying and booking share the same deadline. Verification can take time, especially if your submission goes to manual review, so apply early. An Access Key that arrives on November 1 is no help.
How it works, step by step
- Have (or create) a Virgin Voyages account. Virgin requires one before you enroll.
- Apply through Virgin's official Status Match form with your name, email, phone number, and proof of your qualifying status, such as a screenshot, digital membership card, or account statement. Only share what's needed to show your status. Do not upload government ID numbers or financial account details. Virgin's Status Match page →
- Get verified. Virgin reviews submissions with a mix of automated tools and manual review. Anything that isn't verified automatically goes to manual review, which can take longer.
- Receive your single-use Access Key by email.
- Send the Access Key to CamJon Travel and book a new voyage by October 31, 2026. We enter the key at checkout. That is the only moment it can be applied.
- Sail with Blue Extras perks on that voyage.
Sailed with Virgin once before? Your next voyage is the one that counts. Virgin's flyer describes the perks as applying on your first voyage, or your second for one-time Sailors.
What you actually get
An approved Access Key gives the primary Sailor one-time access to these Blue Extras benefits on the voyage where the key is redeemed:
- One complimentary bag of laundry
- One specialty coffee per day
- An invitation to an exclusive onboard Sailing Club cocktail event
- Dedicated Sailing Club Sailor Services support
What it is not: it is not a permanent move to the Blue Extras tier, and it is not Deep Blue Extras. After that voyage, you earn perks the standard Sailing Club way: Blue Extras on your third and fourth voyages, and Deep Blue Extras from your fifth.
The rules that trip people up
- Not retroactive. Period. New bookings only, key entered at booking.
- One submission and one sailing per Sailor. Duplicate or incomplete submissions are not processed.
- Single-use key. It can't be replaced if it's lost, expires, or is used by mistake. It is not transferable and has no cash value.
- Primary Sailor only. The perks apply to the primary Sailor on the booking.
- Any cabin category. All cabins qualify.
- Any open-for-sale voyage. Charter voyages are excluded.
- Fares: Base, Essential, and Premium bookings are eligible. Lock It In isn't listed in the terms, so ask us before choosing it.
- Combines with: 70% Off 2nd Sailor, Instant Savings, Pay in Full Discount, My Next Virgin Voyage (MNVV), Groups, Reduced Single Supplement, Resident Rates, and Military and First Responder Rates.
- Does not combine with: Refer a Sailor, reduced fares such as employee or vendor rates, or any other promotion, discount, or credit not listed above.
- Approvals can be revisited. Automated approvals are provisional, and Virgin can revoke benefits if a later manual review finds a submission was approved in error.

Sailing Club perks now run through December 31, 2028
The other big news from Virgin this week: Sailing Club loyalty benefits have been extended through December 31, 2028. That's two more years of certainty for anyone who has earned Blue Extras or Deep Blue Extras, and more time for newer Sailors to build toward them. Virgin's Sailing Club page also says current Sea-Blazers and Sea-Rovers can book and sail with Deep Blue Extras on every new eligible voyage through the end of 2028.
- Member: after one completed eligible voyage.
- Blue Extras: on your third and fourth voyages.
- Deep Blue Extras: from your fifth voyage on.
