Ahoy Sailor!

Over the past few weeks, CamJon Travel has been quietly rolling out what is next in how we support Virgin Voyages sailors.

Some of it has been visible. A refreshed site. New planning resources. Clearer service standards. Better tools. More structure. Some of it has been happening behind the scenes as we continue building a better experience for the sailors who already trust us with vacations that matter.

This month’s update is about that evolution.

CamJon Travel is still focused on what we do best: Virgin Voyages planning with strategy, care, and a relationship that continues beyond the booking. The goal is not to become bigger for the sake of being bigger. The goal is to make the experience stronger, clearer, and more connected for the sailors who choose to work with us.

CamJon Travel’s May 1 evolution

On May 1, we refreshed the way CamJon Travel supports sailors. This included clearer planning structure, updated service standards, stronger communication, and a more intentional path for sailors before, during, and after their Virgin Voyages vacation.

This update is rooted in something simple: the best travel support should feel personal, but it should also feel organized. You should know where to begin, what happens next, and how to stay connected along the way.

That is where CJ Travel Connect comes in.

For past, booked & future CamJon sailors

CJ Travel Connect is evolving around you.

CJ Travel Connect was created to give CamJon sailors a better place to stay connected to the planning experience. It is part resource hub, part relationship tool, and part home base for what happens before, during, and after your sailing.

As it has grown, we made an important pivot. CJ Travel Connect is now focused on the people we know best: our past, currently booked, and future booked CamJon sailors.

If you have, or are building, a relationship with CamJon Travel, CJ Travel Connect is being built for you.

Built to make your planning feel more connected

Instead of your details living across scattered emails, notes, and reminders, we are building one place where your CamJon Travel experience comes together. The goal is simple: planning that feels more organized, more personal, and more connected.

1

Your CamJon Travel history in one place

Stay connected to your past, current, and upcoming travel with us, with a clearer sense of where you are in the planning journey.

2

Dining plan building

For Virgin Voyages sailors, build your preferred dining plan inside CJ Travel Connect. It goes straight to Cameron and Dominic, our Sailor Experience Manager.

3

Smarter reminders and next steps

We surface the right reminders, resources, and planning touchpoints at the right time, so you feel prepared without tracking everything yourself.

4

More personalized support

The more we understand your preferences, plans, and celebrations, the better we can support you before, during, and after your sailing.

You will still hear from us directly. You will still receive personal support. You will still have real humans helping you. CJ Travel Connect simply gives that relationship a better home.

A closer look at dining planning.

Dining is one of the most loved parts of CJ Travel Connect, so here is how that feature actually works.

Inside CJ Travel Connect, sailors can build their dining plan and send it directly to Cameron and Dominic, our Sailor Experience Manager. When the booking window opens, we already have your strategy in hand.

1

Build your plan

Select the restaurants, timing preferences, and general dining strategy that fit your sailing style.

2

Send it to us

Your dining plan is sent to Cameron and Dominic so we can see the strategy before the window opens.

3

We take it from there

When the booking window opens, we use the plan you submitted to help line up your dining.

This is the kind of feature CJ Travel Connect was created for. Not a replacement for personal service. A better way to support it.

Sailor Experience

Meet Dominic, our Sailor Experience Manager.

Dominic is our behind-the-scenes detail expert, helping make sure the pieces of your trip are organized, reviewed, and easy to access when you need them.

He helps craft your personalized itinerary so the important information is in one place and your planning experience feels smoother from start to finish.

From reviewing travel details and excursion confirmations to checking contact information, dining plans, and the smaller details in between, Dominic helps support a travel experience that feels more seamless, less scattered, and easier to enjoy.

In short: Dominic helps keep the details moving so you can focus on the journey.

Three small things that make a big difference

Virgin Voyages is refreshingly different, but different also means there are details worth knowing early. These are the kinds of small planning notes that can make the experience feel smoother.

Dining

Watch your booking window

Restaurant reservations can move quickly, especially on shorter sailings and popular dates. If something appears unavailable, it is not always the final word, but early planning helps.

Cabins

Placeholder cabins are normal

In some situations, the cabin shown in a booking link may be adjusted after booking. When we send specific instructions with a link, follow those instructions rather than judging the link alone.

App Life

Use the app, but do not panic

The Virgin Voyages app is important, but it can also be quirky. If something looks odd, ask before assuming there is a real issue.

A Bimini secret: turn right.

Most sailors at Bimini turn left toward the Beach Club, and it makes for a great day. But here is the local move: turn right instead.

About a 15 minute walk from the port, you will find Pat and Ebbie’s, a family run waterfront spot serving some of the freshest conch and seafood on the island. Bring cash, settle into island time, and enjoy a side of Bimini most cruisers never see.

Worth your time this month

These are the pieces that pair best with this month’s update: CJ Travel Connect, dining strategy, and fare guidance.
