The New Bimini Beach Club Menu: What Changes and When Your Ship Gets It
By Cameron DeJong · Sources checked October 15, 2026

Your Bimini day now comes with a new reason to make time for lunch: curry, tamarind, roti, and a Caribbean menu developed with Chef Rashida Holmes. Before you start picking dishes, there is one detail to check. The four ships have different published rollout dates.
When does the new Bimini Beach Club menu start? Virgin lists October 12, 2026 for Resilient Lady; October 25 for Scarlet Lady; November 15 for Brilliant Lady; and April 10, 2027 for Valiant Lady. These are the announced ship-specific launch dates. Confirm the menu for your actual voyage’s Bimini visit.
Four ships, four published start dates
The announcement is exciting, but “new Bimini menu” does not mean every visiting ship switches at once. Virgin published the rollout in its October 9 First Mates announcement.
Check your ship’s announced date
The complete published schedule is below. Selecting a ship highlights its date; it does not confirm service on a particular port call.
| Ship | Announced launch |
|---|---|
| Resilient Lady | |
| Scarlet Lady | |
| Brilliant Lady | |
| Valiant Lady |
Virgin’s announcement does not spell out whether each date refers to a departure or the Beach Club service itself. We would not turn that into a promise about the exact lunch served on your call. Check the sailing-specific information, especially if your voyage falls around the changeover.

The chef behind the new direction
Chef Rashida Holmes developed the menu with Levi Mezick, Virgin’s Senior Director of Culinary Experience and Development. Virgin connects the new dishes with her Bajan and Trinidadian family roots. Its menu announcement gives a sense of the flavors, from curry and coconut to tamarind.
There is a family restaurant story here, too. Bridgetown Roti’s own account describes Rashida’s vision and the collaboration with her mother, Joy Clarke-Holmes, and cousin Malique Smith that helped bring the business to life. That background gives this menu a more interesting starting point than a generic beach-lunch refresh.
For us, the appeal is the possibility of a lunch with its own character. That is an editorial reaction to the announced dishes, not a firsthand review of how they taste. We will keep those two things separate.
Lunch is included. Premium drinks are a separate choice.
Virgin includes Beach Club food and basic soda and water. Premium drinks are charged separately, and cabanas and excursions are additional purchases. See the official Beach Club guide for the distinction.
Eligible premium beverages at the Beach Club can be paid for with Bar Tab. That credit is not a general allowance for independent vendors ashore, and unused purchased or bonus credit is not refunded at the end of the voyage. Read the current Bar Tab terms and check any benefits already attached to your booking.
For your wider trip budget, remember that service gratuities are separate from the voyage fare under the current booking structure. A lunch inclusion does not mean the whole cruise has no additional costs. Check the current gratuity policy.
Our Bar Tab Calculator can help you estimate the drinks you actually want, whether that is a cocktail, a specialty coffee back onboard, or very little premium spending at all.

Ask about ingredients before choosing your plate
Virgin says the new lineup includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. That is helpful news, but it is not an item-by-item dietary key. We have not independently verified a current full menu PDF with those labels, so we are not assigning them ourselves.
A vegetable patty’s name does not settle its pastry or preparation. A curry’s name does not establish every ingredient or what happens in the kitchen. If you have an allergy or another dietary requirement, tell the crew and ask about the dish, substitutions, and cross-contact before ordering. Virgin states that its kitchens are not allergen-free environments.
The practical goal is a lunch you can enjoy with clear information. If a dish cannot be confirmed suitable, ask what can be. Do not rely on a photograph or a blog’s ingredient summary for that decision.
Platinum Tier Tips for a better Bimini lunch
Leave room for lunch in your beach day
- Check your ship’s rollout first. Then confirm the current menu and lunch service window for your sailing.
- Choose your first priority. Perhaps it is roti, a patty, or something with tamarind. Let preference guide the order.
- Plan around any excursion. Compare the return time and actual lunch hours before assuming you can eat afterward.
- Ask the important food questions early. Give the crew time to explain the available options rather than guessing from a dish name.
- Keep the rest of the afternoon easy. Allow time for transport and follow the posted all-aboard instructions.
There is no verified universal queue time or “best” lunch hour to promise here. Use the onboard information and what is happening on your day. A beach visit does not need a rigid timetable to benefit from a little preparation.
For the rest of the visit, open our Bimini Beach Club playbook. Pair its broader planning ideas with the current instructions for your own sailing.

Virgin’s published launch dates are October 12, 2026 for Resilient Lady; October 25, 2026 for Scarlet Lady; November 15, 2026 for Brilliant Lady; and April 10, 2027 for Valiant Lady. Confirm the menu for your voyage’s Bimini visit.
Is lunch at the Beach Club at Bimini included?
Yes. Virgin includes Beach Club food and basic soda and water. Premium drinks, cabanas, and excursions are separate purchases unless applicable booking benefits cover them.
Can I use Bar Tab at the Beach Club?
Yes, for qualifying premium beverages at Virgin’s Beach Club at Bimini. It is not general spending money for independent vendors ashore. Unused purchased and bonus Bar Tab credit is not refunded at the end of the voyage.
Is the new menu vegan or gluten-free?
Virgin announces vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options within the lineup. That does not classify every dish or establish suitability for an allergy. Confirm ingredients, preparation, and cross-contact with the crew.
Is this a firsthand review of the new food?
No. This article covers Virgin Voyages’ announced menu rollout, not a firsthand tasting review. The cover is an editorial illustration; the supplied Beach Club photograph shows the venue rather than the new dishes.
