Virgin Voyages did not wait for Black Friday this year. The Black Friday Preview runs November 3-19, 2026, with 80% off the second Sailor and up to $600 in free drinks, and Mediterranean 2027 sailings booked by November 11 can add up to $300 in onboard credit on top. It is a strong sale. It is also a sale where the cabin you pick decides which perks you actually get, so here is how every piece works before you book.
Does Virgin Voyages have a Black Friday sale in 2026?
Yes. Virgin Voyages’ Black Friday Preview runs for bookings made November 3-19, 2026. It takes 80% off the second Sailor’s voyage fare, which Virgin applies as 40% off both Sailors’ fares, and adds a free Bar Tab of up to $600 depending on cabin and voyage length. The percentage off covers Sea Terrace, Sea View and Insider cabins. The Bar Tab covers RockStar suites and most Sea Terrace cabins. Base, Essential and Premium fares qualify on every ship and itinerary except charters. Mediterranean 2027 sailings on Scarlet Lady and Resilient Lady booked November 3-11 also get up to $300 in onboard credit.

The offers apply to bookings made inside those windows on open, non-charter voyages. Virgin says the Black Friday Preview covers all four Lady Ships and every itinerary, and its social copy puts that at 150+ destinations. Dinner across 20+ eateries, WiFi and group fitness stay included on every voyage, exactly as on any other booking. WiFi level follows the fare you choose.
How 80% off the second Sailor actually works
The headline says 80% off the second Sailor. Virgin’s terms explain how it is applied: when two Sailors book an eligible cabin together, Virgin takes a total of 40% off both Sailor 1’s and Sailor 2’s retail voyage fares. On two equal fares, 40% off each saves the same amount as 80% off one. It simply shows up evenly across the booking.
- Two Sailors, one eligible cabin: 40% off each voyage fare.
- Four Sailors, one eligible cabin: all four receive 40% off their voyage fares.
- Same cabin required: the Sailors the discount applies to must travel in the same cabin.
- Voyage fare: the discount is calculated on the retail voyage fare.
CamJon Tip: Compare the discounted Premium and Essential fares first. A bigger percentage on the most restrictive fare is not automatically the better deal once you count dining timing, WiFi and flexibility.
The free drinks: Bar Tab by voyage length
The “free drinks” are a promotional Bar Tab. It is one pre-set amount per booking, divided between the Sailors in that booking, and the amount depends on voyage length and cabin category.

Because the amount is per booking, two Sailors in a Sea Terrace on a 14-night voyage share $250, or $125 each. Bonus: up to $300 onboard credit on Mediterranean 2027
Book an eligible Mediterranean 2027 sailing on Scarlet Lady or Resilient Lady between November 3 and November 11, 2026, and Virgin adds promotional onboard credit, called Sailor Loot, per cabin. Virgin’s flyer says it stacks with the Black Friday Preview, and it applies automatically to eligible new bookings.
- $300 per cabin: RockStar Quarters suites and Mega RockStar suites.
- $50 per cabin: Sea Terrace cabins (XL, Central, The Sea Terrace, Limited View and Slightly Smaller Balcony).
- Not included: Lock It In rates, Sea View and Insider cabins, charters, and incentive or contracted group programs.
- Rules: unused Sailor Loot is not refunded or redeemable for cash, and it cannot move to another Sailor or voyage.

Which cabins get which perk
This is the part most people miss. Each perk has its own cabin list, so some cabins get everything, some get one perk, and Mega RockStar suites only get the Mediterranean bonus.

In plain terms: a standard Sea Terrace is the sweet spot because it gets both halves of the Black Friday Preview, plus $50 on an eligible Mediterranean 2027 sailing. Fit before fare: using this sale well
- Pick the sailing first. Ship, itinerary and dates matter more than the size of the discount. A great deal on the wrong voyage is still the wrong voyage.
- Compare Premium and Essential before Base or Lock It In. All three standard fare classes qualify, and the percentage off can make a better fare surprisingly reachable. Our fare guide explains the tradeoffs.
- Know which perk your cabin gets. If the free drinks are the draw, a Lock It In cabin will not get them. If the discount is the draw, a RockStar suite will not get it.
- Dreaming of the Mediterranean in 2027? November 11 is the date that matters for the extra onboard credit, not November 19.
- Sailing solo? The solo cabins are excluded from the percentage off. Reduced Single Supplement is on the combinable list, so ask us to compare your options.

Do suites get 80% off the second Sailor?
No. The percentage off applies to Sea Terrace, Sea View and Insider cabins, including some Lock It In versions. RockStar suites get the free Bar Tab instead, up to $600 on voyages of 14 nights or more. Mega RockStar suites do not get the percentage off or the Bar Tab, but they can get $300 in onboard credit on eligible Mediterranean 2027 sailings booked by November 11.
How much is the free Bar Tab?
It depends on voyage length and cabin: $600 in RockStar suites or $250 in eligible Sea Terrace cabins on 14+ nights, $400 or $200 on 10-13 nights, $300 or $200 on 6-9 nights, and $150 or $50 on 4-5 nights. It is one amount per booking, divided between the Sailors in that booking. Sailings of 3 nights or fewer do not get the Bar Tab.
Do Lock It In fares get the free drinks?
No. All Lock It In rate cabins are excluded from the Black Friday Preview Bar Tab and from the Mediterranean 2027 onboard credit. The Lock It In Sea View, Insider and Limited View Sea Terrace cabins can still get the percentage off.
