Dining News
🌶 Ariya: A Bold New Restaurant Is Coming to Valiant Lady
This might be the most exciting dining announcement Virgin Voyages has ever made. Meet Ariya — a modern Indian restaurant debuting exclusively on Valiant Lady after her May 2026 dry dock, created in partnership with celebrity chef and Chopped star Maneet Chauhan through Indie Culinaire.
Named after Sir Richard Branson's great-great-grandmother — a traveler from the coastal town of Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu who believed food could bridge cultures — Ariya will transform the Razzle Dazzle space each evening into a 220-seat culinary sanctuary. Razzle Dazzle will continue to serve breakfast and brunch during the day.
The menu spans India's diverse regional traditions: saffron-kissed classics, coconut-rich coastal flavors, and vibrant street food-inspired Chaat at its heart. Signature dishes include Lamb Shank Biryani, Goan Curried Mussels, Malabar Coconut Crab Cake, and Tandoori Pistachio-Crusted Snapper. The bar program is equally intentional — every meal begins with a complimentary jaljeera welcome sip, followed by spice-forward cocktails like the Saffron & Silk and the Bangalore Old Fashioned.
And like every Virgin Voyages restaurant — Ariya is included in your fare.
🏆 #1 Best Cruise Line for Dining — Virgin Voyages was ranked #1 by U.S. News & World Report in 2026. Ariya is about to reinforce exactly why.
Valiant Lady's dry dock runs May 9–25, 2026. When she re-enters service on May 25th, Ariya will be open for business as she begins her European season out of Barcelona, followed by Portsmouth.
Wave Season Final Call
The biggest promotional window of the year is closing. Through March 31st, Virgin Voyages is offering 80% off your 2nd Sailor plus up to $300 in Free Drinks on 2026, 2027, and 2028 sailings. This is the best value you will see until Black Friday.
